Within the
USA:
There are no shipping costs for orders over $100 shipped within the continental
USA, to
APO or FPO addresses.*
Orders under $100 incur a flat shipping rate of $6.95*.
Orders shipped to
Alaska,
Hawaii, Puerto Rico or the
Dominican Republic may incur additional shipping costs based on weight if they do not fit into Flat Rate envelopes or boxes. Please contact us if you need to verify shipping costs before placing your order
*Certain heavy items on our site such as some tools and/or accessories will have a shipping charge added to them even if your order total is over $100. This will be clearly stated on the item page.
The majority of domestic orders are shipped using the United States Postal Service. Packages shipped using the Postal Service are delivered by the Post Office and delivery time is not guaranteed, unless Express Service is used.
You may also request that we ship your package via Fedex or UPS. Please contact us for additional charges to ship via Fedex or UPS. These charges are based on weight and value. All Fedex and UPS packages include tracking, insurance and time guaranteed delivery dates.
International Order:
We ship packages to international addresses on a daily basis.
All international orders are shipped via the United States Postal Service unless you specifically request otherwise.
We charge exact shipping costs plus a $6.95 handling fee on all international orders. We use the rates at http://ircalc.usps.gov/ to calculate the shipping costs for your order. We will contact you with shipping charges once we have your order packed.
If your order fits in a flat rate Global Priority Mail envelope, it will automatically ship that way unless you request otherwise.
All other orders ship via Global Express Mail unless you specifically request otherwise. Global Express Mail, while usually slightly more expensive, includes, tracking, insurance and faster delivery times. We have found this to be an excellent way to ship heavier and bulkier packages.
As of May 14th, 2007 the United States Post Office will only offer First class, Express Mail or Priority Mail shipping on International packages.
Backordered items on International orders will hold up your order unless you request us to split your order. If we split your order, additional shipping charges may be incurred. We have made it easy for you to let us know your preference during checkout. Please note the default is for us to keep your order together.
We will always contact you before shipping your order if any changes need to be made.
If you choose to pay your order through Paypal, we will send a Paypal request for any additional charges.
Insurance is optional on all packages.
Please check with your local Post Office on taxes and duties which may be imposed by your goverment when you import goods into your country. Some post offices charge an additional fee to accept the payment of duties/taxes. We are not liable for any of these charges and these charges are NOT included in the prices on our website. Please take this into account when you place your order.
Insurance:
If you waive insurance on your order, regardless of shipping method or destination, you are responsible for any loss or damage incurred once your package is accepted by the post office.
Packages shipped via Fedex or UPS may not have insurance waived.
